OBX Wild Horses (Outerbanks, North Carolina)

“I learned why ‘out riding alone’ is an oxymoron: An equestrian is never alone, is always sensing the other being, the mysterious but also understandable living being that is the horse.”
(Jane Smiley)

Last year we went to the Hubster’s bestfriend’s wedding in North Carolina.

The Hubsy is a Whiny Traveler. He is always grumpy with almost everything which at one point you will think, why did you ever went on that trip. But this trip (because he orchestrated it) is different. He was more lenient. He was tolerant with BS and then I get to thinking, there is hope. There is hope.

(Here’s an amateur video I made. If there is anyone who would like to help me make a decent video next time please contact me asap. LOL)

The Wild Horses were not as wild as I thought. As a matter of fact they treat the shore as theirs and the people should give way to them. Which everyone obliged because apparently you cannot go near them anyway.

I am not a very adventurous person and I feel like the horse is going to chase me (or kick me) if I come near them. So I stayed as far away as I can. Hence the resolution of the camera being low. Okay, maybe my photographer (The Hubsy) was not in a mood. Or maybe it’s for the sole reason that I used my phone. LOL

The Hubsy and I

I wish to one day go back to OBX.

The day ended with me whining because I wanted a Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie. Well, Baby gets what Baby wants. I’m kidding. No. Not really.
