King Richard’s Faire (Part Deux)

“Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.”  (Omar Khayyam)

It has been hectic last week but I think for the next 2 to 3 months it will be less stressful. You see, working in the Hospitality Industry (specifically Hotels) has its perks and downside. I fully enjoy the benefit of hotel discounts (of massive proportions) but during off-season you also have less work-hours hence decrease on paycheck. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, I always look at the brighter side of life. Always. Without fail. That’s what I am. That is who I am. Resilience is my middle name. (It’s actually Rull. Yap! I RULE! He He He)

During my Birthday, The Hubsy brought me to Newport (my fave place at The Lil Rhody!) and we had Dinner at The Boat House. The next day, we went to King Richard’s Faire and this is how the day went:

Every year, I love going to King Richard’s Faire. It’s a form of escapism for me. Just like movies. The same  reason why I probably love watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the same reason why I love singing in the bathroom… It’s a form of escapism. Try it! It’s stress-reliever.  And it’s free…

The Hubsy is never a fan of Disneyland or Disney World. He thinks it’s a rip-off. So King Richard’s Faire is an alternative for us. I already went to Disney World once and I never felt that excited all my life! I felt like I was kid once again, it literally transported me to that time when I would have enjoyed it the most. But surprisingly, it still does! Everybody should go to Disney World/Disneyland once in their lifetime. Nobody should die seeing the same thing they always see, the world is vast and we are not a TREE.

Keep smiling everyone! Xx
