“Everything you can imagine is real.” ― Pablo Picasso
Since it’s Thursday, I decided to post a “Throwback” just to let you guys have a wider perspective of how much I really (really, really) L-O-V-E King Richard’s Faire located in Carver, Massachusetts. The first time I went there was with The Hubsy x Sugar (my Sister) x Ondrej (my rugrat of a nephew) and I was completely in awe. It kinda invokes the inner child in me. That same feeling I had when I went to Disney World. Yeah, that kind of feeling.
Since that day, The Hubsy and I decided that we have to go to the FAIRE once a year. Last year, we went with The Salazar’s (as our Couples’ Getaway) and this year it was just me and The Hubsy to celebrate my Birthday at one of my favorite places in the world. So if you are in New England make sure to check out this amazing FAIRE and experience their awesomeness.
(Check their schedule here —> King Richard’s Faire)
King Richard’s Faire is a renaissance fair held in Carver, Massachusetts, which recreates a 16th-century marketplace, including handmade crafts, foods, musicians, singers, dancers, minstrels, mimes, jugglers, whippers, magicians, comedians, puppeteers, gymnasts, exotic animals (including Siberian tigers and ligers), acrobats, mud beggars, stilt walkers, knights jousting on horseback, a royal court, and the fictional King Richard. King Richard’s Faire is the longest-running renaissance fair in New England. (source: Wikipedia)
Here are some photos of the first time we went to King Richard’s Faire:

(The Liger is a breed of Lion and Tiger)
We miss hanging out with this Mother-Son duo but they already went to Cuba and it’s quite far and probably expensive to do so. Maybe on 2018 they can decide of joining us on our vacay to the Philippines. Don’t you worry because I will be sharing those photos as well.
Last year, The Salazar’s visited us for our Couples’ Getaway and we decided to go to King Richard’s Faire. Here are some of the epic moments captured through the lens:

(I just can’t resist this photo-op!)
(And yes, I am crazy by asking this giant to pretend choking me!)
(I just need to try this…)
(Mandatory photo on this cage!)
(My fave, The Wenchies!)
(Kinda reminds me of a Filipino fictional comics character, Ang Panday!)
(His and Her Royal Highness!)
(We can’t pass up the photo-op!)
We love The Salazar’s because they are always game to try new (and sometimes old…) things, they always bring the FUN and never a party pooper. I wonder where the next destination of our Couples’ Getaway will be?
N.B. Next week I will be posting this years’ King Richard’s Faire celebrating my Birthday with the Hubsy.
