I Choose Love

“It is not lack of love, but lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

The Hubsy and I met on a time that we were both (almost) giving up on love. I thought I was never the marrying type. I never really imagined myself being with someone for the rest of my life, never really imagined I am capable of loving someone other than myself (yes, I’m a narcissist!) or my family or my close friends, I never really imagined waking up having someone beside me, or someone who farts infront of me and burps A-B-C’s for fun.

I never really imagined this life, but this is the life I choose because I choose love.

I’m sharing our first professional photo shoot where The Hubsy needed liquid courage to make it through. I guess I prepped him for the bigger (photo) shoot in the Philippines.

I can never resist the urge to wear my Farm Wedding Gown. Let me tell you a story, I got married three times to this man and I will never change it even if I could. Each one is so much different from the other so there should be no comparison at all. (One day, I will have enough courage to share those photos!)

We should all live the life we think is best for us. We should savor each day for life is short and it could very well be our last and we should strive to be the best version of ourselves. We should stop comparing ourselves to others and we should respect each others opinion and pov’s.
